The City of Atlanta has several important resources available to residents. We have attempted to provide as many as we can here! Do you know of other important information we should make available on this page? Email us at communications@adairpark.com.
ATL311 | If you need assistance with ANY municipal service from garbage pickup to public safety concerns, you can call 311 directly or go online to file a request at: atl311.com/311. This service files a request directly with the responsible City of Atlanta department. |
Solid Waste Services (Sanitation) | FYI: Garbage day in Adair Park is typically TUESDAY. Bulk pickup for large trash, furniture or yard debris must be requested by calling 311. Note: due to holidays and other circumstances, the pickup day may be on another date. Additional information on Solid Waste Services is available on their webpage, which includes links to a mobile app that provides reminders on which date weekly pickup is occurring, and notes when pickup days are changed for certain weeks. |
Atlanta Police Department (APD) | The City of Atlanta Police Department’s (APD) service area is divided into “Zones,” for administrative and crime reporting statistic purposes. Adair Park is located within Zone 3. Crime reports for Zone 3 are available via the APD website. |
Neighborhood Planning Units: NPU-V | The City of Atlanta is divided into sub-units called “Neighborhood Planning Units” (NPUs) for the purpose of reviewing development proposals, engaging community in City-related planning, and bringing neighborhoods together. Adair Park is located within NPU-V. These meetings take place on the SECOND MONDAY of the month. You must attend two meetings to be voting eligible in a given calendar year. All meetings currently take place at the Rick McDevitt Youth Center (1040 Crew St SW). More information may be found here. |
Recycling | The City of Atlanta utilizes single-stream recycling processes. They only process cardboard, paper, and #1 and #1 plastics. If you have glass, plastics, mattresses, appliances, or electronics, please make an appointment to drop off your recyclables at the Center for Hard to Reuse Materials (CHARM). You can find information online here. |
